Impulse:
The beginning of the year is the time of the good intentions. „To be honest“ – surely this is one of the all time favourites. But: Honesty without love can hurt – as well when I don’t accept myself as when I am loveless against others. Because: Love and honesty must always go together. Honesty only helps when I tell the truth in a loving way. And love becomes empty when I don’t say the truth. So the commandment of Jesus must stand above everything: When we stay in his love, then there will be an open-minded and honest interaction which will reach out widely.
