The „headquarters“ of the international socioMovens-network are based in Dortmund, Germany. At the campus of Kommende Dortmund both the international foundation and the association are established. But next to the network coordination also a number of other activities are going on in Germany and with German participants:

In cooperation with other civil society actors as for example Campus Weggemeinschaft or Sozialinstitut Kommende Dortmund international exchange programmes between young people from Germany and other partner countries have been established. The first international youth festival of the network took place in Berlin. A more recent experience is that of two German groups visiting and volunteering together with the socioMovens community in Romania.

Next to this interaction in the European exchange, Germany is also an important stop for the network to convene, exchange on current challenges and develop future youth work initiatives. In recent times a training for young multipliers was hosted in Berlin, in Dortmund and Paderborn we convened alumni to work on our Alliance for a Europe of Human Dignity. Happy to stay connected!
